Not much has been happening in the last couple of days, not much at all. Mostly I’ve been at home, cooking, and watching Top Gear, in between rounds. I’ve cooked so much that I will probably be able to go without cooking for over a month, preferably, more. Now, my cooking isn’t very good, I have to admit, but after chopping vegetables for almost a week now I feel that I am at least getting good at something kitchen related! If you have any tips for good, protein rich vegetarian food please do share!
On Saturday I am going away again, this time to Öland, an island off the east coast of Sweden, that I’ve never visited before. I hope you don’t miss me too much!

So, sorry for not posting for a few days, but once again my blog got malware-infested. If you’re one of those people who do malware, you are an idiot, and you should stop.
Anyway, I finally got to seeing the new Pirates film not too long ago. I suppose that a lot of you have seen it already. I thought it was pretty good.
What I’m doing now mostly, is cooking. I’m cooking all day long and then putting all the food in the freezer for future consumption. What I am also doing, is shopping. I have ordered loads of things online in the past few days, and as soon as they start arriving I will be sure to blog about most of them, sharing some of my shopping happiness with you!
Finally, I found this picture in the vintage section on DR. Isn’t she beautiful?

I keep a diary.
In my diary I write my emotions, my thoughts, and things I have no one to share with.
Sometimes I write 10 times in a day, sometimes I don’t write for 10 days.
I sometimes draw in my diary. Nothing fancy, just images from my mind that I don’t want to put somewhere else.
I sometimes share little passages from my diary with a friend or a lover. Never someone from my family though.
Sometimes, when I need to make a decision or can’t stop wondering about something, I ask my diary. I open it at a random page and let my eyes fall on whatever word they find.
I’ve been keeping a diary for almost three years now. I can’t wait to become old and read it all again.
Sometimes, when something is bothering me a lot, I can’t get it off me until I scribble it in my diary.
When I can’t scribble in my diary I talk and talk and talk, but no one understands that it is really my secret thoughts they’re hearing.
In a way, my diary is the closest friend I have.

Do you have a diary? What, how and when do you write in it? Is it private or do you share? Why?

I have decided to finish at least one of my two unfinished fanfics this summer, because I’ve been working on them for almost four years now, and it’s really time to get them done. If you like to read Harry Potter fanfiction, or would like to try it, you can find my writings here.

Today I baked mud cake, and cleaned my kitchen.
People say that I’m pedantic, but I’m not really. I just like cleaning, and I think there’s a difference. I’m not bothered by a messy home, actually I can find it quite charming to have things lying around and such, but I just love cleaning. Whenever I feel I have nothing to do but a lot of energy to spend, I do the dishes or wipe the bookshelves or whatever I feel like doing. I can’t quite understand why people don’t like cleaning. It’s just so relaxing.

But anyway, I’m here now. I don’t have much to say today, but soon there will be blogging about stockings, films, baking, basenjis and oh so many wonderful things!

I’m a bit tired so sorry if this is a bit jumbled and nonsensical, but whatever. That’s what I am right now so. And happy.
I went to a Star Trek thingy (oh my vocabulary is so good when I’m tired) with TSS, Trekkers in Southern Sweden. It was fun, and most people there are actually quite nice, aside from the odd socially incompetent geek. I’m not saying this to be mean, you all know what I’m talking about!
Then I went to a friends birthday get-together. I had baked a cake. The cake is gone. It was nice.
“I saw you with your hands above your head
Spinning around, trying not to look down
But you did, and you fell, hard on the ground
Then you stumbled around for a good ten minutes
And I said I’d never seen anyone look so dumb before
And you laughed and said I still know how to turn you on though”

Weax is happy!
Yesterday, I went to see The Dubliners. And I have to say, it was the best concert I’ve ever been to. These old men are just some of the best musicians out there, and with such an aura around them… Albeit I have to admit that it might be because I started listening to them when I was, I think, 5, and had a pirate-themed birthday-party.

I really would like to share a poem with you, that I wrote, but it is in Swedish, and I just don’t feel like it would be much use then. And no, I won’t translate it. Sometimes translating poetry is good, but a lot of the time it either turns bad or completely looses its meaning.
But I feel like writing poetry, so I’ll improvise…
A wave crashes against the shore
It breaks a line, breaks the barriers
Smashing against the rocks like your hand
smashes against my cheek
Okay, it’s pretty short, but… that’s all I needed to get out.
Ending with a funny picture to please all of you who don’t like poetry!

I’m starting to build a little collection of polishes now, and some of the most lovely colours there is are now readily available to me in my little manicure bag, so I’d like to share with you some of them that I particularly like.
My favourite brand is Mavala, because they look good, dry fast, are easy to use and come in just about the right size. However, they don’t have many different colours, as most are simply some form of red. I very much like red, but I’d love to see a bigger variation in colours from Mavala.
Then I have a few very nice colours from Pieces, but they are so thin in their pigmentation that I kind of dislike them. And the bottles take up so much space! I also have one from Maybelline that I don’t think is available any longer, but it is one of the best polishes I’ve ever had, and such a lovely shade of red too!

As some of you might know I am a trekkie, that is, a big fan of Star Trek. In Star Trek they have a pretty much perfect society. A lot of people would say that such a society is impossible to achieve. I don’t think so, and neither do any other person who has joined The Zeitgeist Movement.
Okay, enough about that. It’s spring, and after a day on the town with my lovely friend Marika I feel as though I miiight have gotten a sunburn. Dammit.

Firstly, because I saw His Holiness the Dalai lama’s public talk here in Lund, and, as recurring readers may have already noticed, I think that His Holiness is pretty much the most amazing person there is.
There’s not really much to say about my experience, except that it was a very personal experience and that I have not stopped smiling since His Holiness first came on stage.

On a more happy note I have finally gotten my VISA-card! This has, of course, resulted (and will inevitably continue to result in) large amounts of shopping. In a few days I’ll start to give you some updates on what I have chosen to spend my money on so far!
I have also started to finish the decorating of my living room and kitchen, and I hope that I will be done in a month or so. Wish me luck and you might see pictures!

On another note, Berlin was nice. It’s not really my favourite city, but it is a fascinating one nonetheless. It might have been a bit nicer if it wasn’t for the horrible hotel and cramped schedule, but after all it was a school trip. It’s just a couple of rows from Maria Mena’s song I’m On Your Side.
“Each confession I make
Translates to you as an insult
We must rid ourselves of this habit
[...]
But you should know,
That I am on your side,
I am on your side
Although it may seem useless
I am on your side
[...]
So I tighten my grip,
By god, I won’t let you slip,
But can you breathe this way?
And it’s never felt like this before
[...]
And I am on your side,
I am on your side
Although it may seem useless
I am on your side
I am on your side
Love was never this frail or so
good when it’s good.”

A few things that have happened recently (including the viewing of Into the Wild) have all led me to think about how worthless human society really is. It’s just a shadow of reality that we have built up over years and years, simply because that’s what we do. In the end it’s all made up of mostly nothing in a small corner of the universe that is in itself a big something made up of mostly nothing.
I’m probably not making much sense to most of you, but I don’t really care. It’s all worthless in the end. All worth is a concept in the brains of men.

My dear friend Malin, of whom you’ve heard, wasn’t able to attend my birthday-party, but instead she bought me a lovely gift. For almost a year now I have been looking frantically for a green liquid eye-liner, and on her trip to London she found one for me! The way to reach into a woman’s heart is to give her chocolate, or, as I have now found out, make-up!
Another thing that is good with make-up, is that it can keep your spirits up at the worst of times. The worst of times being the up-coming weekend which I will fill with reading up on my course literature for my Monday seminar on the history of anti-Semitism.
I’m reading about half of each of the books at the top of the pile on the picture (and yes, that is my very old cellphone on top) and a few pages from a couple of other books. The rest of the pile is composed of other schoolbooks, and there are about three piles of this sort in various places of my flat. Not that I’m complaining, more like… bragging?
On another note, spring is almost here. But just almost.

A few days ago I bought a pair of new primers from Lumene, a Finnish brand that I quite like, being that it is gentle, effective and not too expensive. One is an eye make-up primer and the other a face primer, with a mattifying effect. I have worn them every day since (or at least the days when I’ve been wearing make-up) and they work perfectly.

On another note I would like to say something short about unhappiness. I am not unhappy, not at all, but I have a friend who is. This friend of mine is really making the world in which we live a lot worse by their continuing negativity, selfishness and egocentricity, both by their actions and their constant complaining. This unhappiness is taking its toll not only on me, but also on my friend and our common friends, and even though I know I can do nothing about it, I really wish this friend of mine to be happy. So, I guess my point is, unhappiness sucks and gets you nowhere, therefore you should (through acceptance, action etcetera) always work towards happiness.
And yes, I’m licking my tulip (oh dear, that sounds dirty).

Today has been an overall crappy day. The spring sun is shining, which always gives me a headache and a slight feeling of being sick, and I’ve been at home all day wearing ugly clothes and trying to write two different papers for school, both due tomorrow, while my dog has been constantly whining and craving my attention.
Due to this crappyness I have been trying to find some motivation, and I came up with this list of things that I love in life.
Chocolate
Nutella
Friends
Love
Walks
Breathing
Laughing
The evening sun shining through windows
Dogs
Cold water on a warm summer day
Thunder
Rain against windows
People who smile at you
Good music
The smell of books
Walking through the woods and spotting an animal that sees you too, and you both just stand still staring at each other until the animal walks away
Shoes
Just to name a few. What motivates you?

A lot of people don’t have it. A lot of people don’t even know what it is.
No one can respect you if you don’t respect yourself, and treat yourself like you deserve. This does not mean that one should spoil oneself, quite the contrary actually. One should discipline oneself and keep oneself presentable at all times. There is always things that are fitting and ill-fitting to a situation and a person. People who simply ‘don’t care’, in my eyes, about these things, simply don’t care about anything at all, and that is not the type of person I would like to associate myself with. So yes, I judge you. Harshly.

I’m not normally the kind of person who complains, and in a way I don’t see what I am about to do as complaining, but in a sense it is, I guess.
Anyway, I value education greatly, and I think that learning new things is just about the best thing there is in life. However, I despise school. I am currently attending what is in Sweden known as gymnasium, a sort of middle thing between high school and college. If I dare say so, school is ruining my education and personal development.
The biggest issue is the amount of wasted time I spend just sitting around in school doing nothing except getting exhausted by the unbelievably horrible environment I am in. The work I do in school over the course of one day (~7 hours) I could have done at home in 2 hours. Then there is the fact that I feel almost insulted by the hours of addition work I do on evenings and over the weekends. The work in itself isn’t too hard and on the most part quite interesting, but the time it consumes is eating up not only my social life, but also my development of other skills, such as dancing, writing (which I hope to make a living on sooner or later) and the care of my home and dog.
It should not be like this. Seriously. I am honestly pissed of at the school system and all aspects of my formal education right now.
Lastly I want to apologise for my bad mood, and I make no attempt to excuse it. I hope you are in a better mood than I am right now and wish you all the best! :)

Yesterday I made a mistake. Not one of epic proportions or of great importance in itself, but it lead to a big step in my self-development. I have always believed that mistakes are not all bad and usually lead to something good in the end, but for the first time in my life I did something that I sorely regret, not as much for the actual, physical consequences of what I did, but more because what I did felt like lying to myself, and for the first time in my life I felt like I did something which was not in line with the person that I am.
So this morning, when I took my lovely dog for a walk, I thought about how I define myself. I have always defined myself through my actions, through what I create and make of my life, and not so much the way I actually am. To tell the truth I feel I have shunned my actual self because of not being quite happy with who I was, in reality. But now I have redefined the parameters with which I measure myself, and come to new insights concerning who I really am.
Therefore, I am no longer as afraid to make mistakes. Actually, I think it is not until now that I readily acknowledge than I can make mistakes. I see myself in a new light altogether now.

…is solely a reflection of you.” (Maria Mena, Power-trip Ballad)
I wish I had no soul at all,
no thoughts,
no mind,
no passion.
I wish I was just dead and gone,
no feelings,
hearts,
or sense of fashion.
I wish I had no life at all,
no hate,
no love,
no eyes or ears.
I wish I had no sex at all,
not woman,
not man,
not boy nor girl.
I wish I was alone and forgotten,
no rules,
no duties,
no direction to go.
I wish all these wishes of mine would come true,
so that I would no longer,
have to think of you.
Well, isn’t that wonderfully depressing for you! Or maybe not. Whatever.

I miss my piano (no room for it in my flat)…
But anyway, scratches. We all go through shit in our lives, but what do you do when it starts to haunt you? (really, leave a comment and tell me what you do)

Whenever I mention this principle to people I have to go into a lengthy explanation of an idea which stems from my many years of living with OCD – Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. The disorder has, after years of treatment, become manageable and unnoticeable to the untrained eye, but it has nonetheless made its mark on me and many of the quirks of OCD still linger in me and my way of life.
One of these quirks is what I like to call The Principle of Worst First. In short this principle says that whenever one uses a product or item that one has multiple versions of, one starts with the ugliest, most worn or most ill-fitting item or product, and, when that item or product is no longer usable, one moves on to the next in line.
This principle makes me, for instance, use t-shirts in a particular order, using the ones I like the least the most. Why, then, do I do this? The reason why I have let this particular OCD-quirk linger is because I find it quite logical. The more I use, to return to the t-shirt example, my ill-fitting, greyish-white t-shirt, the sooner I can rid myself off it, never to have to use it again. It is also quite economical and eco-friendly, seeing as I use all my t-shirts, and thus don’t by new ones with old ones, that are never being worn, laying unused at the back of the wardrobe.
As mentioned I apply this principle not only to t-shirts, but to make-up, food items, shampoo, underwear, trousers, shoes and many, many more things that one uses in day-to-day life.
That’s pretty much all I have to say today, bye!

But… It’s Sunday! you say. Well, I had a busy night, so here’s my lovely Saturday for you!
First I went to school! Yes, I did. I was forced to wear an ugly red t-shirt, but there was a WWI grenade there and some nice people.

My friend Malin wore these lovely tights… She just has the most wonderful clothes sometimes (a lot of the time).
And I did some weird dance… But I had fun! =) Did you have fun?

Sorry for not posting this earlier, but I was away this weekend, but here we go!
I went shopping with my mum Friday afternoon… Initially it was just supposed to be ballet clothes (ballet starts on Thursday!) but we went looking and well… we found. So here it goes!
First of all I got this lovely marine pinstripe skirt with red lining and details. It’s a bit too big so I’m thinking of having it fitted properly, but for the time being I’ll manage. It’s gorgeous anyway.
I got this belt a bit cheaper because it’s a bit chipped at the buckle, but whatever I thought, it’s not something you notice. It’s also a bit too big, but there’s not much I can do about it. Maybe I’ll get fatter, who knows.
I also bought these lovely royal blue gloves. I’ve been looking at these for months now, so when they were on sale I finally decided to go for it!
The light in the pic makes them look more violet than royal blue, but anyway, they’re lovely^^
And finally, my absolute favourite jacket of all time. Unfortunately I can’t get a good picture of it in its entirety, but you can get an idea of its loveliness just by looking these pics…
That’s all for today, BEST WISHES!

But even though these are absolutely gorgeous, I really like the old new look better…

Been a while since last time, but here it goes again!
Today I wore Transparenze Sara stockings. There was no denier info on the package, but they felt like 15 dens. They are matte, stretchy and overall quite comfortable. I would recommend them to people with longer legs than mine though. They are a bit too delicate to be worn daily if you don’t happen to lead a very quiet lifestyle, but don’t run easily. They have text (“Transparenze”) on the welt, which is something I don’t like.
The toe has a slight reinforcement, the heel has none. These stockings are clearly not made to be worn for too long, and being so delicate doesn’t make them prettier, so they’re definitely overpriced. They’re okay, but not amazing.
On another note, I like it when people smile at me. It happened a lot today. :)

Lately I have thought a lot about what measures people take in their lives to change them, and why they do or do not take such measures.
I tend to not rely on anyone or anything else to change my life, but prefer to make active choices and change my own life for the better. It’s not always easy, and sometimes one can do nothing but wait, but still, it’s better than doing nothing. A lot of the time though, when my friends talk about their issues and the things that stand in their way they seem unwilling to do anything about it. Why? I haven’t got an answer to that question yet, but some theories. My two major theories are 1, that people are lazy and 2, that people don’t see the solutions because they are too immersed in the problems. I have sometimes experienced the latter, but not the former, not that I can remember at least. Sometimes, however, it seems to be the only possibility.
I think that if everyone did what they could to solve their own problems using rationality and creativity we would have a lot fewer problems. What seems to be lacking though is motivation. People don’t seem to have the general motivation to just live their lives for the better. Why? I cannot grasp this. Help me.

1. What is your best friend’s Mom’s name? Pernilla, I think…
2. Where is the weirdest place you have a mole? Uh, my back I think.
3. Who was the hottest teacher you ever had? He taught me on weekends when I was 13-15. I could hardly concentrate at all. Might be because of his hotness that I now have issues with mathematics.
4. Have you ever made out in a movie theater? Yes, but not too graphic. (wait, am I talking about the film or the make-out…?)
5. What body part do you wash first? My hair. Anything else would be highly illogical.
6. Do you hover over the toilet in public bathrooms? As in not sitting down? Of course. Gross.
7. What’s the strangest talent you have? I can bend over really, really far without bending my knees.
8. Do you have an innie or an outtie? Innie all the way. Outties are weeiiird.
9. What’s your favorite flavored Pringles? Original.
10. Have you ever been tied up? Do you want to be? Yes, and it was quite a bad experience. I might try it again though (this time sober).

20. Did you French kiss before you were 16? Yes. A lot.
21. Have you ever been cow-tipping or snipe-hunting? No? Wtf.

Yay, new post! Sorry for not posting, I’ve been busy. Yesterday I went to Copenhagen, visited two military museums and did some shopping. Oh, you want to see pictures? Well okay! (sorry for the fucked up text-photo formatting. blog.com sucks)
Wehrmacht private uniform used by dane.
Peice of skin with an SS tattoo carved from a dead officer.
Nazi china and cutlery (made me think of American Beauty, that film you know).
Himmlers signature on a letter to a danish SS-soldier.
Hitler and Mussolini toys… Creepy.
And a parachute nazgul, aaaargh!
Danish military parade. Fur hats are in this year.
Here are some old (~15oo) artillery pieces.
Some post ~165o pieces (left) and even more modern ones (right).

It’s a dalek! Wtf! :)

I got kind of horny holding that gun… but it was nothing compared to holding the kalashnikov. Which sadly no one photographed me holding.
But I got a shot of the guide with it.
I’m not trying to glorify weapons. They should only be used as sexual aides. ;)
Now, onto shopping!
The first pictures are kind of self-explanatory^^
I also bought some lipstick. I know, it looks like a tampon, or a mini-vibrator. But it’s a lipstick, I promise.
It’s red. It’s matte. It’s nice.
(It’s M.A.C’s Ruby Woo.)
By for now folks!

…say the word ‘Satanist’ and then see how nice everyone is.” – DoItForTheLulz
I am not one to complain, and that is not what I wish to do today either, but I wish to speak my mind. I have often wondered why it is so accepted for people to judge, mistreat and even abuse Satanists for their faith, when we are supposed to have religious freedom. I understand that one might want to ask questions or discuss faith, and I have nothing against that, but when you feel a need to keep quiet about your religion and keep it secret for fear of persecution or simply because you can’t be bothered to be a martyr and constantly have to fight for your faith then something is wrong with religious freedom.
That’s really all I wanted to say. And if you have any explanation as to why it is viewed as okay to judge and mistreat Satanists but not Christians, please leave a comment!
Best wishes for the new year, Ave Satanas!

I’ve been browsing the web looking for a good pair of kinky boots to add to my collection so far these are the best I have found, but they’re not really made for retail, so I would have to spend a fortune to get them replicated… Perhaps it’s worth it.

I found some other styles that are more readily available, but most of them are too tacky for my taste. I would however love to get a pair of ballet boots, or shoes. Not quite sure how high I would like them to go, but not over the knee I think, from what I’ve seen it doesn’t look too good. I would have no problem standing in a pair either, seeing as I’ve danced en pointe some. Look, even Beyoncé has a pair!

I haven’t blogged for a while, I’ve just been far too busy. It’s Friday now though, and that means I can relax a little. I just saw a documentary about women with big boobs, which made me feel a bit better about mine. I’ve got 7oF, European size, which is pretty big, but I’ve always been rather self-concious about them, no matter how many compliments I get. In one way I feel more self-concious when I get compliments, because then I feel pressured to have perfect breasts.
But enough about breasts. (Are my readers not satisfied? Oh well, here you go…)

So, just a quick stocking review while I take a break from writing a Swedish paper. These are Cecilia de Rafael 141 Ninet Bas 15 denier stockings. With no seams, nude heels and no welt these are the most basic of stockings that I have ever worn. However, they are of superb quality, great fit and with a comfortable and elastic knit, without feeling fake or low-quality. They are definitely worth the price and I recommend them warmly!

The wrinkly ladies are going to be handed out to my friends tomorrow, together with some wrinkly gentlemen.
The oven was kind to remind me that the hatch is self-closing, giving me one more scar on my left side (now 49), but leaving my right side stuck with only two scars. This puzzles me.
It took almost four hours before I was out of dough. The dog sat like that for most of the time.

Intermission, not by choice but without a cause.
I can’t see what you made me watch, not again, but still
the images flicker before my eyes.
Nails, cutting into my flesh, painfully scraping like
the love you want me to feel.
The “good bye”
that you never said, but instead, I keep the memory, of
your nails.
Heat, slowly slipping away, a contrast to
the cold metal you press against my chest.
The “forever”
that whispered, like a wind over my heart, I keep the memory,
forever
with me.
What do you think? Is it any good?

…I’m so fucking tired. The UN role-play is finally over though!
Today I wore the Clio Bas Couture 15 denier (seamed) stockings. Again the seam was fake, but a bit better than on the last pair. As you can see the heels were cuban, but kind of small. What bothered

me most though was the extremely low quality of the knit. It made it look like my legs were covered in strange scars, and the first run appeared after only four hours. Will not buy these stockings again, but I can imagine they work great for someone who doesn’t wear stockings regularly, as they’re pretty cheap but look like the real deal to someone uneducated.

Today I wore Cette Fun 15 denier seamed stockings. It’s another case of the super-strechies. They are good looking enough, and got me some compliments during the day, but the seams, as you can see, are false, which bothers me some. They also tend to move around a lot during the day, which is bothersome. However
they seem to be very durable, so if you’re not bothered by their falseness, elasticity or the thin girdle, then they’re great. Very worth the money.
On a completely different note, the first day of the UN General Assembly role-play went great. My delegation representing Uganda succeeded in uniting the majority of the African countries in a pact, and then went on to join the EU and support their resolution together with the African countries. Great work for the first day, don’t you think? We’ll see how it goes tomorrow.

How can you not love UN role-play when all the guys are suddenly this hot? Every male should wear a suit of some kind. Bow-ties are cool.
And I used this site today; Love Calculator. Apparently Josef Stalin and I have a 98% chance of succeeding as a couple. Fabolous sex. Never thought otherwise though, that moustache. (and no, I’m not a commie)

Now, whatever you may think, I’m not a nylon fetishist. I just love old-fashioned clothes. Here are the nylons I wore today. They are Cervin Capris in 2o denier. They have a very good fit, and a very old-fashioned nylon feel. A bit cold for the wintry weather, but it’s not too bad. The reinforcements are big enough and sturdy enough, and they are definitely worth the money. A new favourite! Sorry for the bad picture. I’ll make it up to you;)
On a completely different note, the UN General Assembly role-play that my school is organizing starts tomorrow. Guess who’s the first speaker. ><

Seriously, there’s a good reason why I love ballet. Just look at them. It’s perfection from head to toe, and emotion, art and aesthetics in one.
I just had my last ballet class this term, but I will return next year for two classes a week. I love ballet, and the strength and technique that it helps me acquire is essential to my development as a dancer.
I have to confess though, I’m not very good at it. I’m not very used to the concept of such calculated movements in dance, but it’s not so much the actual movements as it is combining them and achieving a flow in the dance. Perhaps it will just take time.

Latin again. It’s killing me. Unfortunately I am doing the cleaning and washing today, and going shopping tomorrow, so the result of my test on Monday morning will probably be disappointing.
I just want to be free to do whatever I want. I want to write, draw, sled and go horseback-riding. But instead I’m stuck with anxiety about school.
Don’t get me wrong, I like Latin. However, I don’t like the stress and anxiety that comes with it. I don’t like spending more time in a place filled with acne, hormones and a way to complicated social structure than I do in bed (read: heaven). And I don’t like being free to do whatever I want in the summer, when I don’t want to do anything, and being forced to do things I don’t want to do in the winter, when I want to do everything.
However, I’ve got it a little bit better than a lot of other students. I’ve got teachers that are just a little bit more dedicated, a little bit more knowledgeable, and a little bit more AWESOME. And yes, that’s two of them in the picture.

I love winter. I love snow. I love life.
Today has been one of the best days of my life. Nothing has been able to get me down today. The best thing of today was by far the snow. Winter is here to stay. The white powder covering the landscape seems to evoke joy, love and a childish attraction to all things fun, but unnecessary. I think that one should never forget that childish joy and fascination that makes you do things simply because they’re fun. I’m just talking about the little things, like snow-angels, chocolate and laughing. I’m not talking about laughing at funny things, I’m talking about laughing just for the sake of it, just because it’s one of the best things in the world. Feeling happy from the inside out. I laugh all the time, just because. I smile constantly. It makes me sad that there are so few people in the world that are happy. Most people who pass me in the street look at me like this,

when they should be looking at me like this!
I don’t care if people laugh at me or with me, I just want them to laugh and be happy!

Okay, this isn’t for kids or sensitive people!
_-_The_Wave_(1896).jpg)
I write fanfiction, which I publish to FF.net. I don’t like putting a lid on my creativity, and so one of my three fics has graphic sex-scenes in it. I’m not the only one (far from it, the stories that get read the most are usually graphic in nature). Smut (sexual content) is usually thought to double the number of hits a story gets, while slash (sex, or romantic, scenes between two males) is considered to triple the number. I’m not going to reflect much over this, but let you do the thinking here.
I have recently discovered hetalia (abbreviated; het), which is using countries and making characters of them, personalities. I think it rather lovely, and my favourite artist who makes these renderings is humon.
Play nicely, adieu!

I’m quite sorry for not blogging yesterday, but I came down with acute viral rhinopharyngitis (that’s a cold), and the rhinoviruses are holding up well against attacks so far. Being incapacitated in such a horrible manner I have sat by my faithful friend Amon (my laptop, I named him) and watched Jeeves & Wooster, a television series I warmly recommend.

As usual the dynamic relationship between Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie is that which makes the humour work. And Stephen Fry is, if I may say so, gorgeous. Hehe. <3

First of all, Gipsy Designs.
Pretty much the stretchiest pair of stockings I’ve ever worn. Very soft and warm, perfect for colder weather.
However, the lace panel at the back was completely redundant, and the bows fell of during the day. There is no heel or toe reinforcements, but it’s hardly necessary. Again there was the issue of the unnecessary elastic, and well, I probably won’t buy this design again.

Then there’s the Clio Bas Prestige. These stockings are nylons, no lycra or spandex here! They feel lovely, just as nylons should. The fit is good and they come in a lot of different sizes, but it could still be better as the stockings start to gather at the ankles after an hour or two. The reinforcements are good.

Today came the first real snow of this winter season. Luckily enough I was free from school all day and only got out to take a long walk with the dog in the snow.
He never would have thought it when he woke up, but before he would return to his bed that night he would have met the love of his life. She would be blonde, plump and sweet like a caramel – she would be everything he wasn’t. Her name would shimmer like diamonds and glow like the sun, and he would be desperate, crawling and frightened – but too Proud to show it.
Should I continue? Should I write this?

Catch 22. I have only gotten to the third chapter, but it’s good so far. And the feeling and smell of this particular book is lovely. I am very fond of old books, and I believe that one can judge the content of a book by it’s smell, especially when it has been read by many, and many times over. It’s pages then become impregnated with the soul of the reader, and the reader in turn is what makes a book what it is.
I know I should have done a stocking review, but I’ll post it tomorrow instead, I just don’t feel like it right now :)

These stockings are 4o denier nylons with a classic look and feel.
They come in a lot of different sizes suitable for both longer legs and thicker thighs, and a selection of basic colours, from which I chose grey. They have a reinforced heel and toe, but the heel reinforcement could definitely have been a bit bigger, as it barely covers my heel (being EU size 38, I think it should).
Check out http://internationalquidditch.org/ for updates on the Quidditch World Cup!
Also, I think everyone should listen to Leo Sayer.

So, today I wore stockings from G=9.8, an ecological label. They are made of pine fibres (76%), spandex and polyamide.

They are really soft, warm and not as fuzzy as cotton stockings. They are only available in one size, but luckily fit me quite well. I wouldn’t recommend them for longer legs, as I have rather short legs, and these were on the verge of short even for me.

The feet are woven like normal socks, and will fit EU sizes 38-41.

They are available in four colours, of which I chose black blue, but I will definitely try some of the other options next time!
There’s only one thing about these stockings that I don’t like, and that’s the completely unnecessary elastic at the top. Now, this might not be a problem for people with more slender thighs than I, but for me it was not only uncomfortable, but also somewhat unsightly. All in all however, these stockings get 9 out of 1o, and I will definitely buy them again.
And now, HARRY POTTER. I just came back from the premier of Deathly Hallows, and anyone who doesn’t wish to be spoiled should read no further.
Well, here follows some kind of review. Deathly Hallows is the best HP film from David Yates – but that doesn’t say much. It has some funny moments, some nice ones and some not so nice ones. Some things are there that shouldn’t be, and some things got taken away that shouldn’t have been taken away, but that’s how it is with films. All in all it was a good film, BUT it does nothing to convey the soul of HP. Also, I had really, really, reaaally low expectations, because Yates has ruined the HP films like cold water ruins a nice, warm shower. And now starts the countdown for the next part of good, but not necessarily HP-feeling film. Oh, right, it’s the last part…
I love Harry Potter, but the films are nothing compared to the books. But I love the fandom, the people and the creativity that surrounds it all. The best part of going to the premier tonight was definitely the feeling of being in a theatre packed with HP fans, a lot of whom wore HP-outfits, or at least brought a wand or drew a scar or a Dark Mark on their bodies. I am guilty of the latter.
Now it’s off to bed for me, and I’m hoping to dream sweet dreams about Severus Snape, or Alan Rickman. Either works just as well. ;)

My new order of stockings arrived today (wow, they were shipped yesterday, that’s fast!), and so for a while I will be posting pictures of my lovely stocking-clad legs pretty much every day and giving you my review of the stockings – starting tomorrow!
This order of stockings comes from SFQ.se, a Swedish site, but it ships internationally and is available in English (just click the flag button at the top).
I really hope I got my moneys worth, but we’ll see.
Oh, and I got a haircut a while ago:

I haven’t been in love for like, seven months. To me, that’s a lot. I fall in love, or at least have crushes, all of the time. And without it, life just seems empty and pointless. I’m getting kind of desperate, I’m almost forcing myself to crush on someone, anyone, and it’s getting on my nerves. What to do, what to do… I can’t remember the last time I didn’t have a crush on someone, the crushes and loves have always been dropping down on top of each other, almost getting in the way and pushing and pulling trying to get me to prioritize and chose. Now I don’t really know what to do with my life.
It’s not that I’m lonely, because I’m not, I just don’t know what to fight for, besides love. What do you do when you have nothing to do and can’t fantasize about your crush?
It’s also frustrating on an entirely different level, a sort of non-emotional one. I feel ready to start a family of sorts, or at least settle down and start to think about starting a family (like think about it for real, not just planning a pretty house and what my children are going to wear), and not having someone to start a family with makes it kind of pointless to want anything like that. What to do, what to do… Any advice?

I am a nerd. Therefore I study a lot. Which makes blogging harder. Oh, how I long for the days when I don’t have to go to school… I’ll study all my life though. Knowledge ftw!

Absolutely sickens me. I just can’t understand how anyone can hurt an animal like that, it’s beyond me.
It also sickens me that some people have nothing better to do with their lives than to vandalise Wikipedia articles. I have been an editor of Wikipedia since 2oo7, and unfortunately most of my time and effort has gone to reverting vandalisations. I don’t get why putting “and also he was the wonkiest man I ever knew” at the end of a perfectly informational and factional sentence is worth doing. Sure, it’s a little bit fun to read, but it does more damage than it’s worth, mostly. To start with, it discredits Wikipedia. Most people argue that the actual factional inconsistency is the principal matter, but I would argue otherwise. Most people who use Wikipedia are wary of this kind of thing, and dismiss it instantly, however, the fact that this kind of thing exists at all very much gives a bad impression of a site and a concept that is otherwise a very good one, and by doing so it makes a greater impact on the whole than the actual damage it does to the few people who read it before it is reverted by an editor.
And lastly I just want to give you all a tip. Check out vlogbrothers on YouTube.

Yay, I finally picked up my parcel from Moster Marie!
I don’t like fake jewellery. This however, is not fake. This is plastic, and it looks fantastic. It’s not trying to look like anything else than what it is, and that’s what makes it so lovely.
Finally! A pair of boots that fit around my enormous calves!

I love the detail at the back, the v-cut and the tassel are just enough to be interesting, but not enough to be overwhelming (which is a real problem with the designs we see today).
This lovely skirt was an absolute bargain (sorry for the bad picture… I need to
clean my mirror), and it fit me almost perfectly, which is a rare thing, as I don’t have the same waist and hip size. True, it was a little bit too big at the waist, but still, it’s better than what you get in store these days. And the craftsmanship is just amazing – this skirt is how all clothes should be made!
As you probably have understood by now I am a lover of vintage. I have several reasons for this. First of all, the quality of vintage garments often far surpass the quality of the garments that are available in retail stores today. The price is often half the price of retail stores or less. Then there’s the fact that vintage is one of the most eco-friendly alternatives available, and certainly the best looking one! For me, being a history lover, it is also the feeling of wearing and owning something that has been worn and owned before, something that someone else has used, and lived another life in. It’s this giddy, warm feeling that has its origins somewhere in the stomach and sends sparks flying throughout the body, eventually caressing my face and leaving me to look something like this:

Yes, it’s the Dalai Lama. Yes, he is amazing.

That’s the question about life that I can’t quite answer.
I believe that everyone has to find their own meaning in life, because life, essentially and from an objective viewpoint, is meaningless. However, I have failed to find a one thing in my life that holds meaning. I’m not saying that my life is meaningless, for there is obviously something that keeps me going, it’s just that there is not a one, single great motivator, and I often find it hard to isolate what exactly it is that motivates me.
There are a lot of things in my life that gives it meaning and a lot of things that make me happy, but I don’t have one great goal or one single thing to drive me forwards. I keep wondering if that is a good or a bad thing. True, I don’t have to rely on the success or failure of one thing to give my life meaning, but having many things is, frankly, a bit messy. It’s almost like I forget something for a while, while focusing on another thing, and then it turns and something entirely different becomes the main focus. Because of this I am always motivated, but rarely focused enough to put all my energy in to one thing, and then most of the things I try to create become mediocre. This is not something that I am proud of.
I need something to help me focus, something to help me prioritize and see what is most important. But what?

I’ve spent the day watching films. Therefore I recommend three films to you today.

Notice a recurring theme…? All the same, they are very good films which I recommend that you watch as soon as possible.
